Başkent University Faculty of Communication holds regular meetings of the Disabled Student Unit each year with the aim of creating an inclusive and accessible educational environment. These meetings provide an important platform for identifying potential difficulties disabled students encounter in their educational processes, developing solution-oriented approaches, and ensuring their full and equal participation in academic life. The briefings provided to faculty members during these meetings not only raise awareness about regulations and rights but also include recommendations for improving the accessibility of course content, exam practices, and learning materials. This enables faculty members to better understand the needs of students with different types of disabilities and adopt an educational approach that takes individual differences into account.

These briefings support both student satisfaction and academic achievement, while also tangibly demonstrating our university's commitment to social responsibility and ethical values. Held annually, these meetings contribute to the development of a shared awareness among all stakeholders by creating a sustainable awareness and support mechanism.
