Students from the Faculty of Communication at Başkent University visited the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on Monday, December 4, 2023, as part of their “Communication and Public Opinion” course. They learned about the history of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and attended a presentation by the TBMM Legislation and Decisions Directorate on the General Assembly and the law-making processes and how these processes work. Accompanying the students on the visit were Eylem Temizer, Research Assistant in the Public Relations and Advertising Department of the Faculty of Communication at Başkent University; Semra Ay, Lecturer in the Communication and Design Department; Naz Almaç, Research Assistant in the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department; and Hüreyye Özdemir, Lecturer.
