In the event, in which the students showed great interest, the guests talked about the point of journalism from past to present and the reasons for this. Journalist Faruk Bildirici also revealed the political and social transformation that Turkey has undergone, while listing his views on professional ethics, what journalism is and what it is not, how it should be done and should not be done. Faruk Bildirici states, “Right now, no matter how great news you make on digital, it has a lifetime of 1 minute. After 1 minute, it gets all over the websites your source shown in between, they get the news as theirs. After 10 minutes, it becomes incomprehensible even whose the news is. So no matter how good your reporting is, people don't just have to look at your site. People are looking everywhere.” He also touched upon the effects of digital and social media on journalism. Media Meetings interview titled “The Transformation of Journalism” ended with the presentation of plaques to the guests.
