Başkent University Communication Faculty Media Meetings hosted İlhan Koçulu and Fatih Tatar from Boğatepe Environment and Life Association under the title of "A Success Story from Anatolia: Changing Lives with the Right Touch" on the 2nd of November in 2018.

The event which was moderated by Communication Faculty Member Prof. Dr. L. Dogan, held at the Avni Akyol Conference Hall and it was attended by Başkent University Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Haberal, Başkent University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Recep Tayfun, Başkent University Faculty of Communication Dean Prof. Dr. Özcan Yağcı in addition to academicians and students who attended. 

In the event held by Tılıç, the first speech was made by İlhan Koçulu.

Koçulu, who set out to introduce Kars cheddar and gruyere to the world, explained how they implemented many successful projects in the village where he lived, from ethnobotany to solidarity tourism, from Turkey's first cheese museum to livestock production. Fatih Tatar, on the other hand, gave information about the Boğatepe Environment and Life Association, which was established in 2002 to develop projects to support village life through natural and social resources, and the projects carried out within the scope of the association. After the interview with the participants, Başkent University Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Haberal and Başkent University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Recep Tayfun gave a certificate of appreciation to the guests.
