Organized by Başkent University Cultural Services Directorate and Communication Faculty, "Media Meetings" hosted theater actor, director, art director Rutkay Aziz.

The artist visited Başkent University Campus with Başkent University Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Haberal, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir Varoglu and Prof. Dr. Nermin Özgülbaş, General Secretary Hayri Öztürk, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Özcan Yağcı and Head of Culture and Sports Department İlknur Özen. The artist, who also visited the Atatürk Museum House on the campus, wrote in his memorie book, “My great ancestor, I am experiencing the honor and happiness of living you again. Thanks to Başkent University”.

Before the talk held at Başkent University Prof. Dr.  İhsan Doğramacı Conference Hall, a short documentary film about the life of artist Rutkay Aziz, prepared by the Communication Faculty Radio Television Cinema Department Production Workshop, was shown.

In the conversation that started under the moderation of the Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Özcan Yağcı and Expert Özge Mumcu, Rutkay Aziz gave information about many artistic topics, from the theater plays he played and directed, to the works of the Nazım Hikmet Cultural Foundation, especially his close friend, the cinema artist Tarık Akan, then he answered questions from the participants. After the conversation, which ended with great enthusiasm and appreciation, Başkent University Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Haberal thanked the artist Rutkay Aziz and gave plaque and flowers.
