Başkent University Faculty of Communication brings together media professionals, experts, lecturers and students with panels organized under the title of "Media Meetings". Journalist and writer İsmail Saymaz was the guest of the third panel held on the 4th of December 2015 under the title of “Investigative Journalism in Turkey”. In the pleasant conversation moderated by Başkent University Faculty of Communication, faculty member Assoc. Dr. Şebnem Pala, the meanings of investigative journalism in our country, human rights journalism and the conditions under which all these are carried out were discussed.

In the fourth panel Moderated by Assoc. Dr. Senem Gençtürk Hızal "What is an Advertiser?" hosting Ateş İlyas Başsoy as a speaker; the dimensions of advertising as a profession, its infrastructure and superstructure, the situation of the sector, target audiences, the advantages and disadvantages of traditional and new media for advertising, and ethical problems in advertising were discussed.

In the panel titled "Being a Director", which was held by Moderator Assist. Prof. Dr. Nihan Gider Işıkman and director Leyla Yılmaz was participated as a speaker; a road map was presented for students who aim to be a director, along with the roles the director undertakes in all production processes of a film, different genres and directing topics.
